The London Toy Fair was on at full swing when we started to write this post and Bill was down South hunting out new brands.
It seems deathly quiet in Hebden Bridge and this in part could be attributed to the outrageously long lasting roadworks on the main road at Mytholmroyd.
Despite conscientious work being undertaken by Robert A Williams and also Visit Hebden Bridge in promoting the independent shops in and around Hebden Bridge, we can do little more as independents to increase footfall and this time of year can be especially quiet for trade around here, so any spend, no matter how small, really helps us.
Bill is hunting for new and exciting products, plus being interviewed for the Toy Fair magazine, article below. At this time of year in Silly Billy’s we look at changing products around and one product we are interested to know your opinion on is Dolls. Dolls at SIlly Billy’s made a good start though their sales have not been what we expected so if you would fill out this form it would really help us to better gauge how popular Dolls may be
Time moves on and now Bill is at Spring Fair in Birmingham, this is an annual visit, although this time he has gone with our neighbours, Homely at Hebden, to source out some new and exciting suppliers for 2018.
As promised here are the articles from Bill Deakin that were written in the London Toy Fair News:
